Easy and quick: Empanadilla’s

How to: Empanadilla’s with goatcheese and ham

Time to awaken your inner foodie with easy and delicious recipes!

I made these for my birthday in september and my guests loved it! It is so easy with only a few ingredients. You have to invest a little more time in the puff pastry, but we all have more time to do that because of lockdown.

So go for it!

PS: You can switch up the filling with … Whatever you like! 😋

—————————————————————————————————————————

Ingredients: ingredients empanadilla

– 150gr goat cheese
– 175gr ham
– 1 onion

– 2x garlic

– 1 egg

– 1tsp paprika powder

– olive oil

– 2x puff pastry

On the picture I only showed one
– Capers (if desired)
– Salt

How to make it:

1. Slice up the ham, cheese, garlic and onion.

2. Roll the puff pastry open and cut circles out of it with a glass or dressing ring (Ø8cm).

3. Place the circles on a plate with baking paper.

4. Pre-heat the oven: 200°C

5. Bake the onion and garlic for a few minutes.

6. Add the ham and goat cheese to the onion mix.
Add 1 tbsp of paprika powder, spice up with salt and pepper and mix everything.

7. Fill the half of every puff pastry circle with 1 tbsp of the mix.

8. Make the edge of the circles wet (only 1/2 of the circle) with water
    and close the circles

9. Press the edges with your fingers
After that press the edges with a vork

10. Beat the egg and brush the empanadillas with it

11. Place the baking plate with the empanadillas in the oven for 15min.

Enjoy your WARM empanadilla!
